I’m excited to share my newest obsession: This awesome album dedicated to Instagrams. I call it Bits of Life ’cause that’s what it is.
It’s born out of my love for divided page protector spreads and my Project Life failure earlier this year. I just know now that I’m not the sort of person who can keep up with PL. But I will not let that keep me from doing some sort of over-embellished-everyday-photos-in-divided-page-protector project.
It bugged me big time to give up on PL back then but seeing Vee Jennings’ PL week after week and Simple Stories releasing the Mix & Match albums I KNEW I had to give this format one more try.
This isn’t Project Life. It’s just me printing Instagrams whenever I feel like it and applying explosives + adhesive to my scrap pile, hoping it’ll jump in those pockets and look awesome. So far I’m totally pleased!
I will not kill this album with rules and guilt. I’ll post updates every now and then.
Now, let’s get this party started!
I sewed the overlay to the side of the page protector. I love this lime green Hambly overlay and have been hoarding it for a while now.
Instagrams: My work desk, hubby + friend + me playing Diablo 3, hubby + kid on iPads, kid totally in awe over a tractor and finally, kid’s first Adidas.
The shoe tag is sewn to a piece of packaging and stuck into the pocket. The tag flips up to reveal some journaling. It’s not private (just a little note on her current shoe size) I just love the interaction, that is all.
Hope you enjoyed! Thanks for looking.
Ps. That nailpolish is Essie ‘Rose Bowl’. It’s so amazing! Bright red with the slightest hint of cool violet in it. Hard to describe. Pure joy!
