A bit of everything (and nothing)

I just decided to jump on the bandwagon and participate in the Photo-a-day challenge by Fatmumslim. Been seeing a few of these #photoadayaug hashtags in my Instagram stream and I really can’t resist! I’m obviously a few days behind but I’ll catch up by cheating a little bit.

In other news, I ordered some more Simple Stories page protectors to get on with my Bits of Life album but they were defected (the pockets didn’t have slits and were sealed shut). I contacted the store where I bought them and it turns out the entire stock was defected. Boo. And it’s the only place to get those here in Denmark. So that’s put on hold for a bit.

I also took the plunge and ordered a Silhuette Cameo! SQUEEEE! I’m SO excited for this and I’m already fiddling about in the Silhuette Studio preparing the first couple things I wanna cut. I can’t wait to finally get more use of my coloured cardstock. Yay!

Ada’s birthday is in less than two months and my mind is full of ideas for invitations and decor. Not that it’ll be super elaborate but I wanna do something nice and fun now that she’s almost two and able to appreciate just a little bit more of all the fuss and get-together-goodness.

Work starts again on Monday and I’m looking forward to it big time. I feel like a kid before the first day of school. I even bought new notebooks so I’ll be super ready for notetaking and planning and sketching.
