I’m excited to share my card for today that I made with the Happy Mail stamp set. If I had to pick a favourite set, that’d be it. :)  If you don’t already have this set, be sure to pick it up in the swissgirlDesigns etsy shop. It’s too cute and versatile to pass up!

Now, onto the card!

This is a birthday card for my father-in-law. It’s not particularly birthday-ey (is that a word?) but that sentiment is even better than a standard bday greeting if you ask me. ;) I inked up part of the “Please handle with lots of love” stamp with some Summer Field chalk ink by Prima. I layered up some paper scraps, a doily and a couple diecuts from the Amy Tangerine Ready Set Go die cuts. Finally I tied some natural  thick string around the card front twice (by cutting a slit in the fold) to sort of wrap around the clustered bits.

    Wow, normally the mint shade would be too pale for me, but the light orange and strong blue give this kind of a nice, chilly and autumny feeling. Interesting! Thanks for showing, greetings from Finland!
