I got this awesome (out of focus, but who cares?) photo of my baby girl at the pool not so long ago. I knew I had to scrap this photo immediately! I just love, love, LOVE how she is in the water. Happy and fearless. I wish that she will always feel like this.
I really went for a fun feel with this. Plenty of neon pink. Ps. I adore my Bubble Gum Pink Dylusions Ink Spray. It’s perfectly crazy hot pink. I used some Hero Arts Neon Pink and Neon Blue ink pads with my LIKE, FYI and Arrows stamps.
I doodled with a Micron pen to add some delicate black detail.
Thanks so much for stopping by.
Hey peeps. Checking in with a layout tonight. I’m trying to squeeze in more scrappy time ’cause I’m feeling so inspired these days. So much beautiful product out there. So many talented scrappers everywhere. I’m so enjoying checking out the Studio Calico member galleries lately. You guys rock! <3
Anyways, here’s a recent layout. It’s made for the two challenges on Studio Calico right now: Using a quote for your title and using the Sunday Sketch.
I really adore this quote (found on pinterest). Being a total homebody I’m all about making my home very ME. And being single that’s quite easy. I love my home and I think it’s a true reflection of me.
At home I can be me. I can be messy, concentrated, silly. I can dance with my daughter, I can cook yummy meals using every bowl and utensil and pan.
I struggled a bit with the sketch ’cause the page felt very split down the middle. But I think it turned out fine in the end. Nothing a bunch of mist drops can’t fix.
Happy Easter, everyone! Thanks for stopping by.
Here’s another layout share. Using Studio Calico goodies and feathers, Star Confetti stamps and Hashtag stamp (sold out) from Stromsvigt.
Admittingly, my layouts lately have been very me-oriented and this one is no exception. I’ve grown so much since my separation, I can’t even really fathom it. I’m learning to be proud of what I do as opposed to feeling insufficient and reliant. And I just feel like documenting this feeling and expressing it. Frankly, I can hardly keep from doing it. It’s really sparked my mojo.
Anything getting you excited about scrapping lately? I’d love to hear. There’s not a whole lot of things better than feeling energetic and inspired.
‘Cause this is what it’s really all about.
I’m pretty happy these days. Glass half full and all. I’m so thankful for all the nice words and likes for my shop Stromsvigt on Etsy. It’s still early days but I’m just digging perfecting my products and dreaming up more stuff.
So here’s a layout expressing some of that joy I’m feeling.
Again, I meant to journal on the ‘Noteworthy’ card but never got around to it. I just think the picture and the layout itself seems cheerful and simple with some pretty details.
Thanks for looking. I hope life is treating you well, also. <3
I haven’t even mentioned this on the blog yet, but tomorrow morning (like 10 hours from now) I’m opening my Etsy shop Stromsvigt. Yay!
I’ve been designing wood mounted rubber stamps and decided to put some up for sale. They are very limited edition – so far between 1-4 copies of each design. I found this great American stamp manufacturer that does some really awesome work with my designs.
I hope you will check it out tomorrow and that you like what I’ve made. If you haven’t seen some sneaks on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram, I urge you to go and see all the coolness and sample projects.
Here’s a first view of the entire selection of wood mounted rubber stamps available at the opening tomorrow:
I’m giving away a ‘Like’ stamp to one lucky Facebook fan. So to enter the giveaway, go and like Stromsvigt on Facebook. Good luck!
Now, onto a new project using both the hashtag and the FYI stamps. Really digging the sequins and mists lately.
Thanks for reading this far! I hope you like what you’ve seen so far and that you’ll stop by the shop tomorrow.
Big Valentine’s hugs,
Here’s a layout I did with some random Instagrams I printed but didn’t wanna make seperate layouts for. It’s essentially about all the nice stuff that makes every day feel just a little bit more special.
Like someone said in Sex and the City: “It’s not about needing something. It’s about wanting something. Something extravagant.” (And I actually think that was Samantha talking to Richard Wright about something dirty – but it applies here too.)
Hope you liked it! Have a great weekend, guys.
